Nature Ritual Terms & Conditions

Operations: Based in NSW, with activities conducted in NSW and QLD
By making a booking, payment, or registering for a membership, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the Nature Ritual Risk Warning & Waiver of Liability. Completion of the waiver is mandatory prior to booking or attending any activity.
1. Bookings
1.1 Bookings are confirmed once Nature Ritual has received your completed booking form, signed waiver, and deposit or full payment.
1.2 Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete the booking and waiver forms.
1.3 All bookings are made in Australian dollars (AUD).
1.4 Nature Ritual may refuse a booking if a participant does not meet health, fitness, or safety requirements.
2. Changes to Terms & Conditions
Nature Ritual may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Participants will be notified via email or website. Minor changes that do not affect participant rights may be implemented immediately.
3. Prices & Payment
3.1 Prices are per person and include only what is specified in the booking confirmation.
3.2 Payment plans may be offered for certain activities; all installments must be paid by the agreed date. Failure to complete a payment plan may result in cancellation without refund.
3.3 Full payment must be received prior to the activity start date.
4. Fitness, Health & Medical Obligations
4.1 Participants must be physically and medically fit for the activity.
4.2 Pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns must be disclosed at booking and updated prior to the activity.
4.3 Participants may be asked to modify or skip parts of an activity if continuing is unsafe.
4.4 Participants must comply with all instructions provided by Nature Ritual guides.
4.5 Certain activities may have age recommendations; participants over 65 should seek medical clearance.
4.6 Medical Form: The Nature Ritual Risk Warning & Waiver of Liability includes a medical form that must be completed prior to all tours, events, and retreats.
5. Travel & Insurance
5.1 Ambulance cover for your state or territory is mandatory.
5.2 Travel insurance is mandatory for multi-day tours, retreats, and certain events, and must cover medical, evacuation, and any activity-related incidents. Proof of insurance may be requested.
6. Risk & Waiver
6.1 Participation in Nature Ritual activities is at your own risk. Activities include hiking, bushwalking, yoga, meditation, breathwork, overnight camping, retreats, training, and mentoring programs.
6.2 Participants acknowledge and accept all risks as outlined in the Nature Ritual Risk Warning & Waiver of Liability.
6.3 By booking, participants release Nature Ritual, its employees, guides, directors, officers, and subcontractors from liability for injury, death, or property damage to the extent permitted by law.
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
7.1 Day Hikes & Events
Participant cancellations (change of mind): No refund or reschedule is available.
Operator cancellations: If Nature Ritual cancels due to weather, safety concerns, or insufficient participant numbers, you may choose either a reschedule or a full refund.
No-shows: No refund.
All cancellations or reschedule requests must be submitted in writing.
7.2 Training Programs
Non-refundable deposit: Required to secure your place.
All program fees are non-refundable
Payment plans: once you have committed to the payment plan you are confirming you will pay the whole program fee which is non-refundable.
Participant cancellations: No refunds.
Operator cancellations: If Nature Ritual cancels, you may choose a reschedule or full refund.
No-shows: No refund.
7.3 Retreats & Multi-Day Tours
Non-refundable deposit: Required to secure your booking.
Cancel or reschedule more than 90 days before the activity: Loss of deposit only, plus $100 admin fee. Participants may request a reschedule, subject to availability and Nature Ritual approval. Loss of deposit and admin fee still applies.
Cancel less than 90 days before the activity: No refund unless your place is filled by another suitable participant agreed upon by Nature Ritual. Deposit will be forfeited and admin fee will apply.
Operator cancellations: If Nature Ritual cancels due to weather, safety concerns, or insufficient participant numbers, you may choose a reschedule or full refund.
No-shows: No refund.
All cancellations or reschedule requests must be submitted in writing.
8. Transfers
8.1 Transfers to another participant are permitted with Nature Ritual approval and may incur a transfer fee.
8.2 Requests must be submitted in writing at least 30 days prior to the activity.
8.3 Transfers do not extend the expiry of any credit, which remains valid for 12 months from the original booking date.
8.4 Transfers are generally not available for multi-day, retreat, or third-party provider tours unless due to extenuating circumstances.
9. Multi-Day Adventure & Gear Policy
9.1 It is each participant’s responsibility to bring all items on the packing list provided.
9.2 If you cannot gather all items, please contact Nature Ritual for gear guidance or loan options.
9.3 Travel insurance must be taken out and proof may be requested.
9.4 Third-party travel providers may impose additional policies; participants must comply with these.
10. Membership
10.1 Annual membership grants access to member-only events and discounts.
10.2 Membership is paid, annual, and automatically renews unless cancelled in writing prior to renewal.
10.3 Membership is non-transferable.
10.4 Membership may be terminated by Nature Ritual with 14 days’ notice; unused membership fees will be refunded pro-rata.
11. Weather, Safety & Force Majeure
11.1 Nature Ritual may modify or cancel activities for safety reasons (weather, fire danger, trail closure, or hazards).
11.2 Participants must follow guide instructions; failure may result in removal without refund.
11.3 Nature Ritual is not liable for cancellations, delays, or additional costs caused by events outside reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, or emergencies.
12. Authority of Guides & Subcontractors
12.1 Guides have final authority over safety and activity conduct.
12.2 Nature Ritual may engage subcontractors or agents. Participants agree that Nature Ritual is not liable for the acts or omissions of subcontractors.
13. Liability & Indemnity
13.1 Participation is at your own risk. By signing the waiver, participants release Nature Ritual, employees, guides, officers, and subcontractors from liability for personal injury, death, or property damage to the extent permitted by law.
13.2 Participants agree to indemnify Nature Ritual against claims arising from their participation.
13.3 Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law.
14. Photography & Media
Nature Ritual may use photos or videos for marketing purposes. Participants may opt out in writing before the activity.
15. Complaints
Complaints must first be raised with the guide during the activity. If unresolved, submit a written complaint within 30 days of the activity.
16. Privacy
Participant information is collected for booking, operational, and membership purposes and may be shared with subcontractors as necessary. Nature Ritual’s Privacy Policy applies.
